Belding – Mrs. Kate L. Parks, 80, 52 Belhaven, died today at Butterworth
Hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Parks was born Dec. 21, 1895 at Greenville and was a lifetime area
resident.  She was a housewife and member of Belding United Methodist Church. 
Her husband, Ronald I., died Oct. 18, 1973.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Thelma) Bradford, Belding; a
step-daughter, Mrs. Robert (Dolores) Kenny, Belding; a son, John R. McConnell,
Belmont; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, at Charles M. Courser Funeral Home,
Belding, the Rev. Eugene A. Lewis officiating.  Interment will be Rest Haven
Memory Gardens.  The family will meet with friends and relatives tonight from 7
to 8:30 and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial
contributions may be made to the heart fund; envelopes are available at the
funeral home.
