She was born in 1856 in Ohio to Benedict and Sarah Geisler, and came to Michigan when a young girl. In 1876 she was married to Frank Parmalee, who died 24 years ago. Surviving are three children: Jenny, teaching in Grand Rapids; James, at home, and Mrs. Fern Barry, of Grand Rapids; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Mahoney, of Grand Rapids, and three brothers, George, Joseph and John, of Lake, Michigan. Funeral services will be held from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. E. H. Humphrey officiating. Bearers for the service will be Jack and Harold Barry, Russell Stebbins, Clarence Tucker, Clifford Kimball, and Woodrow Brokos. Burial in the Saranac cemetery.
