Ionia Sentinel - 1 February 1958
Alonzo Parmenter, 78, died at 10:40 pm Friday at Okemos.  He was born August 7, 
1880 in Ionia County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Parmenter.  Mr. Parmenter 
was a retired farmer.  He had lived in Lansing the past 20 years.  Surviving 
are two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Beadle of Evart and Mrs. Lucy Rich of Orleans, and 
nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm at the Myers 
funeral home.  Interment will be in Higbee cemetery, northwest of Ionia.
