Ionia Sentinel Standard, 29 Jan 1968

Mrs. Rose Parney, 88, died Saturday following a lengthy illness.  She was born 
November 23, 1879.  An ordained minister of First Church of God, she was also a 
member of the first graduating class of Anderson College in Anderson, Ind., 
First Church of God and life member of Missionary Church of God.

In 1925 she was married at Cooks Corners to Leeman Parney, who preceded her in 
death.  Surviving is a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mattie Schneider of Woodland, nieces 
and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Huffman funeral home in Belding 
with Rev. Marvin Moser officiating.  Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery in 
Lake Odessa.  Contributions may be made to the Church of Good Missions.  
Bearers will be Milan Reeves, Robert Hansen, Orville Thompson, Milo and Paul 
Midlam and William Phillips.
