Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Fri. Sept. 17, 1920


The remains of Clifford W. Parsons of Detroit arrived at noon today and were 
taken immediately to Oak Hill cemetery where the grave service was held. Rev. 
Paul Faude of St. Joseph’s church accompanied the remains to Ionia, and he was 
assisted by Rev. A.R. Mitchell in the brief service at the grave. The bearers 
were Fred Whitney, Harry Spencer, Fred Tower and Henry Voelker. The casket was 
covered with flowers when it arrived, being brought here by several members of 
Mr. Faude’s church in Detroit, where Mr. Parson attended. Thus a good Christian 
man in every sense was laid to rest here.
