Born November 24, 1881 in Montcalm county, near Greenville, she was the daughter of Frank and Frances Woodward and spent her early life near Grattan center. She was married November 10, 1900 to Burton Partridge in Oakfield township, Kent county and in 1920 moved to the present farm residence. The Partridges observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1950 and spent the past 15 winters in Florida. She was a member of the Ronald Grange, Farm Bureau, Palo Baptist Ladies’ Aid society and a member of three clubs in Belding, including the Goodfellowship, Washington and Columbian clubs. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. F. M. Donovan of Belding and Mrs. Stanley Powell of Ronald township, Ionia; six grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Charles Flemming of Ithaca and one brother, James Woodward of Duluth, Minn. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon, July 26 at 2:30 at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home with the Rev. H. S. Ellis of Belding officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery.
