Belding Banner-News, 12 Aug 1965

Burton A. Partridge, age 85, died at the Ionia Hospital Sunday where he had been
a medical patient for 10 days.  He was born in 1879 in New York and as a small
boy, moved to Michigan with his parents.  In 1899 he was married to Rilla
Woodard who died in 1956 and in 1958 he was married to Mrs. Ora Bookie who died
in 1963.

Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Avis Morse of East Lansing and Mrs. Stanley
Powell of Ionia, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, a brother
Clyde of Rockford and two sisters, Mrs. Glen Whittal of Zephyrhills, Florida and
Mrs. Howard Thompson of Sherwood.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried at Highland Park Cemetery.]
