The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 25, 1918

Frederick Patrick, one of the pioneers of Berlin township, died at his home on 
Sunday, at the age of eighty-two years.  The funeral will be from the 
residence at 1:30 Wednesday.  Rev. E. E. Branch will have charge, and the 
interment will be in the Balcom cemetery.
