The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, June 5, 1976

Leo E. Patrick, 81, of 506 Kent street, Portland, died June 4 at the St. 
Lawrence hospital in Lansing.  He was born January 12, 1895 in Eagle the son 
of Mr. and Mrs. William Patrick.  He was a Portland area resident all of his 
life.  His wife, Susie, preceded him in death in 1971.

He was the sexton for many years at the North Eagle cemetery.  He was employed 
at the Michigan Department of Public Health State Laboratory in Lansing.

Surviviors include four sons, Harold and Irwin Patrick of Portland; Richard 
Patrick of Eagle; and John Tannery of Portland; and eleven grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Neller Funeral home in Portland.  
Rev. Harold Homer of the Portland Untied Methodist church will officiate.  
Burial will be at the North Eagle cemetery.
