Patrick, retired Ronald farmer, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elton Griswold, near Palo Saturday night. He was 70 years of age. Mr. Patrick has been critically ill for some time. He was a farmer near Palo most of his life and member of the Methodist church in that village. He was born January 14, 1883, in Gratiot county. He was married to Myrtle Smith in 1904. She preceded him in death in 1916. On December 2, 1916, he was married to the former Anna B. Witte who survives him. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Stone of Ionia, Mrs. Ruth Griswold of Palo and Mrs. Esther Sigourney of Lansing; two sons, James Patrick of Mishawaka, Ind., and Paul Witte of Pontiac; 10 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. George Stedman, of Ionia; and four brothers, Victor of Traverse City, Roy of Portland and Arthur and Milne of Ionia. The body is at the Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan until the time of service. The Rev. Harold homer of Hubbardston will officiate. Interment will be in Palo cemetery.
