Ionia County News - Thurs. Jan. 14, 1937


Mrs. Nellie Patrick, 60, died at her home in Berlin township Sunday afternoon, 
January 10. She had been a semi-invalid for several years.

Nellie Morrison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Morrison was born in Berlin 
township, August 30, 1870.

July 7, 1904, she was united in marriage to Robert Patrick and they lived the 
32 years of their married life in the same farm home in Berlin township.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Essie Haynor, Detroit; one 
brother, John Morrison, of Berlin township. Another daughter, Mrs. Elsie 
Bennett, died Nov. 11, 1934.

Funeral services were held from the home in Berlin township, Wednesday 
afternoon, January 13, at two o’clock. Rev. Kenneth Griswold of LeValley 
Methodist Episcopal church officiated. Burial was in Balcom cemetery.
