Ionia Sentinel Standard, 6 Dec 1973

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hull Memorial chapel in Muir for
Arlington Fred Patrick, 64, of 544 Price street, Ionia.  He died Wednesday at
Ionia County Memorial hospital following admittance after a heart attack.  Rev.
Richard Harrison of Lyons Baptist church will officiate and burial will be in
Muir cemetery.

He was born October 24, 1909 at East Jordan the son of Mr. and Mrs. George
Patrick.  He attended public schools in Holt and later became a truck driver. 
With the exception of three years in the Army he followed the line of work all
his life.  The past five years he has driven truck for Brown Corp. of Ionia.  In
1942 he was married to Bessie Mae Brown in Lansing.

Surviving are his wife, Bessie; four sons, Dell, David and Michael Patrick of
Durant, Fla. and Leonard of Ionia; daughter Mrs. Ellen Rowan of Barberton, Ohio;
three brothers, Clarence and Earnest of California, and Harold of Lansing; four
grandchildren.
