Howard L. Patrick, 80, of Belding, died Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at Spectrum 
Health Butterworth Campus, Grand Rapids.  He was born November 12, 1923 in 
Bluefield, Virginia, the son of James and Fannie Lockhart Patrick.

His brothers and sisters were Bowen, George, Edward, Wilburn, Zeddie, Vernon, 
Lee, Zelda, Edna, Helen and Lucille.  

Howard attended Oakfield Baptist Church and retired from Gibson’s in 1974 after 
29 years of service as a press operator.  He was married on November 1, 1958 in 
Belding to Louise Gray.  

He was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Louise, 
and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, 
Belding, with Pastor Ken Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating.  
Interment is in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.  Visitation is one hour 
prior to the service at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be given 
to ca charity of one’s choice.
