Greenville Independent, Wed., Jan. 29, 1908
Wm. Patrick at Palo, in his 91st year. He was a prominent man in his day, a 
fortune hunter in California, a carpenter, a farmer. He was a citizen of Bloomer 
and supervisor of the township thirteen years, at first coming to Greenville 
which was then the county seat to attend meetings of the board of supervisors. 
Later he was a supervisor in Ionia county. The funeral services were conducted 
by Rev. N.L. Otis, for many years an intimate friend of the family.
