Brad Patrick, age 44, of Saranac, passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 4, 
2003 at his home.  He was born October 29, 1958 in Ionia, the son of Keith and 
Darlene (Burns) Patrick.  He would go on to marry Janette Pritchard October 
29, 1996 in Ionia.

Brad managed the Crystal Flash Convenience Store in Saranac for many years.  
He was an avid golfer and bowler and also enjoyed any sport and traveling.  He 
was a member of the Morrison Lake Country Club.

He is survived by his wife Janette of Saranac; his mother Darlene Patrick of 
Ionia; son Keith Patrick of Texas; his daughter Andria Patrick and special 
friend Bryan Pettigrew; step-daughter Jessica Fritz of Saranac; brothers Mike 
and Peggy Patrick of Saranac; Kim and Laurie Patrick of Ionia; Kurt and Alexa 
Patrick of Wisconsin; sisters Jodi and Nelson Neiderer of Bay City, Lori and 
Kim Grant of Ionia, mother-in-law and father-in-law Luther and Caroline 
Buckner of Saranac; several nieces, nephews and brother and sisters-in-law.  
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and also by his father Keith in 
1980.

Funeral services for Brad will be Monday 10 a.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment will follow at the 
Saranac Cemetery.  Visitation is 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 
Sunday at the funeral home.
