Craig (Mike) Patrick aged 56 of Saranac passed away unexpectedly January 20, 
2004 in Florida. He was born October 7, 1947 in Ionia the son of Keith A. and 
Rose Ann (Allen) Patrick. He graduated from Ionia High school in 1965. He 
married Peggy Laux October 30, 1970 in Saranac. He was a Vietnam Veteran 
serving in the Marines. He owned and operated CMP Trucking Inc. He was a life 
member of the Saranac VFW and served on the Boston Twp. Board as a Trustee for 
4 years.

Surviving are his loving wife of 33 years Peggy of Saranac. His son Eric and 
Becky Patrick of Saranac. Mother Robert and Rose Ann Hardy of Saranac. Step 
mother Darlene Patrick of Ionia. Grandchildren Brett Michael Patrick, Blake 
Michael Patrick and Ethan Michael Patrick. Brothers Kim and Lori Patrick of 
Ionia, Kurt and Alexa Patrick of Wisconsin, Del and Renae Hardy of Saranac, 
Bobby and Judy Hardy of Saranac, David and Barb Hardy of Saranac, Tommy and 
Tami Hardy of Saranac. Sisters Kim and Lori Grant of Ionia, Jodi and Nelson 
Niederer of Bay City. Sister in law Janette Patrick of Saranac. Neighbor and 
special friend George Cooper of Saranac. Many Nieces and Nephews. He was 
preceded in death by his father Keith, and his brother Brad.

Funeral Services for Mike will be on Saturday 11:00 A.M. at the Saranac 
Community Church with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment Balcom 
Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 7-8:30 P.M. at the Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to the American 
Heart Association. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
