Ionia Weekly Sentinel - Thurs. Dec. 5, 1918


Frederick Patrick was born in Cambridge Shire, England, June 28, 1826, and 
passed away Nov. 24, 1918 at the age of 82 years and 4 months and 27 days.

He moved with his parents to New Jersey at the age of six years and when nine 
years of age he moved to New York and at the age of eighteen he came to 
Michigan which has since been his home. 

He was united in marriage to Sarah Heater, who departed this life Dec. 27, 
1908. To this union six children were born four of whom survive him. There are 
six grandchildren and one great grandchild. One grandson, Sgt. Fred Patrick is 
with the A.E.F. in France.

He leaves one sister and one brother. One sister, Mrs. Rachael Pike dying just 
two days previous to his death.
