PENNY PATRICK-SHARP 1958-2017
Penny Lynn Patrick-Sharp, 58, of Ionia, MI passed away unexpectedly at her 
home on May 5, 2017. She was born Oct. 30, 1958 in Ionia, MI.

Penny was working at Kens Fruit Market in Grand Rapids. She loved to play 
softball and was very involved in her families lives and activities.

Penny is survived by her children, Maggie Daugherty-Mier, Brandon Sharp and 
Jennifer Durden, all of Ionia. Grandchildren; Jaylssa, Jaden, Christina, 
Autumn, Ayden and Kiley, all of Ionia. Mother, Maxine (Midge) White- Madlock 
of Ionia; Brothers; Robert Patrick Jr. (Chrisanne Thwaites Lundstrom) of 
Stanton, Leroy (Stephanie) Starks of Nashville. Some very special people to 
her, Larry Sharp, David Daugherty and Daniel Mier. She was a special second 
mom to Heather Hoppough. She had many nieces and nephews, cousins and 
friends.

She was preceded in death by hr father, Robert Patrick Sr. and step father, 
Ken Matlock. Penny worked hard for many years but always made time for her 
family that she loved more than anything.

Funeral services for Penny will be held on Wednesday, May 10, at 11 a.m. at 
the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Pastor cliff Allen officiating. 
Internment Tuttle cemetery. Visitations will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. and one 
hour prior to service at the Funeral home.
