Ionia Sentinel, Tuesday, February 12, 1974

George O. Patterson, 71, of 432 Johnson died Monday at Butterworth hospital in 
Grand Rapids following an illness of several weeks.  He had formerly lived at 
406 Center.

Born March 16, 1902, at Marion he was the son of Henry B. and Ildra Salisbury 
Patterson.

December 6, 1947, he was married in Ionia to Rose Anna Gammage.  He had lived 
most of his life in the Ionia area and was employed at the Coca Cola Bottling 
Company 25 years.

Survivors besides the wife, Rose Anna, include a son, Phil at home, two 
daughters, Mrs. Rose Mary Wohlscheid of Ionia and Mrs. Diane Martinac of Muir, 
two grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Anna Holiday.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic 
church.  Fr. Jack Findlay will officiate and interment will be at Mt. Olivet 
cemetery.

Rosary will be recited Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Myers-Roetman funeral 
home.

Family will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 
2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
