Ionia Sentinel, 5 Jul 1979

Ionia – William T. Patterson, 69, of 702 North Jefferson St., Ionia, died early 
Thursday morning at Kent Community Hospital in Grand Rapids.  He was born 
August 29, 1909 in Ionia County, the son of William H. and Catherine (Kenny) 
Patterson.

Mr. Patterson attended rural schools and St. Peter and Paul Academy.  He was 
employed in construction work most of his life.  He married Bessie Styles on 
April 21, 1934 in Ionia.

Survivors are his wife, Bessie; one son, Keith of Ionia; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth 
Maynard and Mrs. Jean Statler, both of Ionia, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Myers-Roetman Funeral 
Home in Ionia, with Rev. George Douma officiating.  Burial will be in the 
Tuttle Cemetery.
