Donald K. Patterson, 57, of 3483 South Lee Road, Saranac, died Saturday of
accidental injuries.  Born in White Water, Kansas, July 26, 1921, he was the son
of Erwin and Etta Shupp Patterson.  He had lived in the Saranac area for the
past 12 years.  He was married to Thelma Robertson in September 1943 in Sault
Sainte Marie; she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Donald of Saranac and James of Portland; two
daughters Arla Jean Patterson of Saranac and Patricia Dick of Tampa, Fla.; four
grandchildren; three brothers, Clifford, Vercel and Alvin Patterson, all of
Kansas; three sisters, Blanche Ferguson and Wilma Brenner of Kansas and Dorothea
Patterson of Oklahoma; and nieces and nephews.  A daughter preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held from Lake Funeral Home, Saranac, Tuesday at 1
p.m., with the Rev. Stanley Hagemeyer officiating.  Burial will be in Cottle
Cemetery, Pickford.  The family will be at the funeral home Monday from 3 to 4
p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m.  A memorial, of the family’s choice, has been
established in care of the funeral home.
