Washington street, died Wednesday morning at the home of her nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Orser, 1258 Lafayette, Grand Rapids. Mrs. Patterson was taken ill last fall and received treatment at St. Mary’s hospital in Grand Rapids and at Belding City hospital before being removed to her nephew’s home, April 1st. Death was attributed to heart trouble and complications. Mrs. Rhoda Orser Patterson was born in St. Clair county, near Lockport, and came to this vicinity with her parents when a young girl. She was mother of three sons during her first marriage to Charles R. Watson. One child died in infancy and was buried in the Old Cemetery where Mrs. Patterson will also be interred on Friday following the funeral services from the Ellis Funeral Home on East Washington street at 2 o’clock. Her second husband died some years ago when they resided in Gault, Canada. Surviving besides her two sons, Charles and Fred, are three brothers, Will Orser, of this city, Ed Orser of Camas, Washington, and David Orser of Chicago, Illinois.
