ROSE ANNA PATTERSON
IONIA - Rose Anna Patterson, 70, of Ionia, died Monday at Ionia County Memorial
Hospital. Born Nov. 1, 1917, she was the daughter of Orin and Josephine Weyland Gammage.

She attended SS. Peter and Paul Academy, worked at the A.C. Spark Plug factory, and
was a salesperson for Avon Cosmetics.

Surviving are a son, Phillip Patterson of Ionia, and a daughter Dianne Martinac of
Lyons; four grandchildren; and a brother, Paul Gammage.

She was preceded in death by her husband George, in 1974 and a daughter, Rosemary 
Wohlscheid in 1982.

Funeral mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter and Paul's Catholic
church, Ionia.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

The family will be at the Rich Street Chapel of Cook Family Home Wednesday from 2 to
4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

A memorial for SS. Peter and Paul Academy has been established in care of the
funeral home.
