Donald (BJ) Paulin, 24, of Orleans passed away Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999, from
injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  He was born Sept. 7, 1975, in
Pontiac, the son of James and Donna (Owens) Paulin.  He enjoyed hunting and
fishing.

He married Beth Yoder Oct. 3, 1999, and she survives.  Also surviving are his
father, James Paulin of Orleans; mother, Donna (Robert) Schmitz of Pewamo; son,
Nathan Staffen of Ionia; daughter, Karlie Ann Paulin of Lowell; stepdaughters,
Tia Marie Swart and Alyssa Danielle Swart, both of Orleans; brothers, James
Albert Paulin of Muir, Albert Edward Paulin of Orleans, and Sean Michael
(Michelle) Paulin of Greenville; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and
cousins.  He was preceded in death by twin brother, Patrick, in 1975, and his
grandparents.  

Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church
in Ionia with the Rev. Melvin Fox officiating.  Visitation will be at Lake
Funeral Home, Ionia, tonight from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Wednesday from 2 p.m.
to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  A Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 8 p.m.
 Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund established for BJ’s
children.  Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
