Death and New Life Visit Ionia Home Last Sunday

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Pavona, 423North Dexter street, was filled with
sadness last Sunday morning and joy in the afternoon.  A visit of the grim reaper
took the life of Mary, their four-year-old daughter, in the morning, and a visit
from the stork in the afternoon presented them with a son.

The funeral for the daughter was held from SS. Peter and Paul church on Tuesday
morning at 9 o’clock.  Burial at Mount Olivet.  She is survived by several brothers
and sisters, aside from the parents.
