Ionia County Shopper's Guide, 31 Oct 2010

September 4, 1926 – October 17, 2010.  Jeanne Peabody, 84 of Lillian, Alabama died
on October 17, 2010 at The Haven Our Lady of Peace.  She was born in Salt Lake City,
Utah.  She moved to Lillian after retiring from the Michigan Public School System
where she taught 30 years in Lansing and Portland.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence of 63 years who died in 2007. 
Survivors include two children, Suzanne and husband John Holm of Pensacola, Florida
and Charles and wife Debra Peabody of McDonough, Georgia, one brother Norman and
wife Marcia La Barge of Tremonton, Utah and one sister Andrea and husband Byron
Bagnell of Salt Lake City, Utah.  Grandchildren Kyle Masters, Eileen and Amanda
Peabody, Jesaca Wilson and Jaime Conti.  Great-grandchildren Kylie Masters, Emma,
Grace and Avery Wilson.

A special thanks goes to Covenant Hospice Staff and all the Staff at The Haven Our
Lady of Peace for the wonderful and loving care they provided to her prior to her
death.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 1, 2010 at 11:00 at Barrancas
National Cemetery on Naval Air Station Pensacola.  In lieu of flowers, donations may
be sent to Covenant Hospice of Pensacola.
