Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 27 Sep 1949

A news clipping from Portland, Ore., has been received here telling of the death
of Lee Elmer Peabody, 58, of that city, formerly of Ionia county.  Funeral
services were held in Portland, Ore., Friday with interment there.

He was born in Shiloh Jan. 18, 1891, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Peabody.
 He moved to Portland, Ore., in 1910 and the following year married Angeline B.
Arnold who survives him.  At the time of his death he was auditor and vice
president of the ???erman’s National Bank of Portland.  He leaves the wife and
two daughters.  Several relatives from Ionia county also survive.
