Ionia County News - Thurs. Sept. 17, 1925


The funeral service for Mrs. Ransom G. Peabody, 55, well known resident of 
Keene township, was held last Saturday afternoon from the late home. Mrs. 
Peabody had been a lifelong resident of Ionia county and for 14 years conducted 
a dressmaking shop in Ionia with Miss Ida Renwick. She had made plans for 
another winter trip south when attacked by a stroke of apoplexy, which caused 
her demise. She is survived by her husband and one brother, Charles Curtiss, 
who lives in Canada.
