Frank Adelbert Peabody, 60, of 9772 Button Road, died Thursday at his home
following a lingering illness.  Mr. Peabody was born September 20, 1907, in
Martiny township, Mecosta county.  He had lived in Mt. Pleasant and Barryton,
and had been a resident of the Smyrna area for four years.  He was employed by
the Isabella county road commission. 

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Ward of Smyrna and Mrs. Dorothy Gibson
of Galloway, Wisconsin; one brother, Dave Peabody of Mason; two sisters, Mrs.
Effie Bailey of Commins and Mrs. Sylvia Griffith of Mt. Pleasant; and four
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Huffman Funeral Home,
Reverend Kent Troyer officiated.  Interment was in Martiny cemetery at Rodney.
