Janet N. Peabody, age 76, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014.  She was born 
on December 7, 1937 in Ronald Township, MI the daughter of Louis and Navene 
(Moore) Hatinger.  Janet was a homemaker, and she loved spending time with her 
family. 

Preceding her in death were her parents.  Surviving are her husband, Robert 
Peabody; children, Ken (Denise) Peabody, Cindy Bissel, Doug (Karen) Peabody, 
and Marcia (Jeff) Hoppes; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother, 
Bud Hatinger. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 19, 2014 at the 
Portland United Methodist Church, 310 E. Bridge Street, Portland, with Pastor 
Keith Treman presiding.  Interment will take place at Balcom Cemetery at a 
later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes, Portland.
