Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

                              MARY L. PEABODY

Died Monday September 1, 1980-age 74 of Edmore, at Sheridan Community Hospital.
Born January 26, 1906 at Hillman, the daughter of William and Caroline Draper.
Mary lived in Edmore since 1974 and was formerly of Westville & Fenwick.
She & her husband, Ralph, owned & operated the Fenwick & Westville grocery 
stores.
Former member of the Edmore OES.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in 1973.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.Fred (Myrna) Statezni, Oscoda; two sons, Wendell, 
Blanchard, Gaylen San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Mrs.Blanche Mitchell, 
Stanton, Mrs.Carrie Dickie, Flint; a brother, Chester Draper, Schoolcraft; nine 
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services Wednesday at Stebbins-Simpson Funeral Home, Sheridan, the 
Rev.Gerald W.Bowen officiating.
Interment will be in clear Lake Cemetery.
Visitation at the fuenral home tonight(Tuesday) from 7 to 8:30.
