Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. April 10, 1973

LAKE ODESSA- Robert A. Peabody Sr. 59, died Monday at St. Lawrence hospital in 
Lansing where he had been a patient two weeks.

Born September 11, 1913, in Tulsa, Okla., he was the son of Floyd and Daisy 
Scranton Peabody and came to the Sunfield area when a small child.

He was employed at the Lake Odessa Canning Company since 1955.

In June of 1957 he was married to Gladys D'Water and she survives as do three 
daughters, Patricia, Judy and Daisey at home; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Charles 
Crugher of Bancroft and Mrs. Albert Curtis of Lake Odessa; three stepsons, 
Leroy D'Water of Lansing, Ronald of Perry and Larry of Kalkaska; nine 
grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Durwood Mast, Mrs. Walter Jackson of Hastings; 
three brothers, John and Russell of Delton and Leslie of Tucson, Ariz.

Fueral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 pm at the Pickens funeral chapel in 
Lake Odessa. Rev. Glenn Rairigh of Sunfield will officiate and interment will 
be at Lakeside cemetery.
