Portland Review - Wed. June 8, 1983


Homer J. Peacock, 80, of Hudson, Fla.; died Sunday, June 5. He was born in 
Sebewa Township, the son of Harlan Peacock.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma; a son, Homer (Bill) of Tequesta, Fla.; a 
daughter, Mrs. Janice (Ray) Ferris of Portland; two brothers, Howard of 
Muskegon and Wayne of Morley; two sisters, Mrs. Ivah Gurnsey of Hastings and 
Mrs. Ruth Peterson of Grand Rapids; seven grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Neller Funeral Home. The 
Rev. Willis Braum of LeValley Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be 
in Sebewa Township Cemetery.
