L. Gleason farm. His death it is believed, being due to an overdose of chloroform which he took to relieve an aching tooth. He had been in the village in the morning and had procured an ounce of chloroform which he had been applying during the afternoon to relieve his pain. After going to his room at 8 o’clock he had apparently injected some of the chloroform in his tooth with an ink dropper. More of the dangerous drug had either been placed or spilled upon his pillow, where he fell asleep inhaling the fumes.
