ALBERT PEACOCK JR. 1938-2017
Albert S. Peacock Jr., aged 78 of Saranac, passed away Aug. 11, 2017. He was 
born Dec. 25, 1938 in Ionia Michigan the son of Joe Peacock. In his later 
years his step-mother Emma Pickens was special to him. Albert served in the 
US. Marine Corps. He married Shirley Bayly April 8, 1960 in Ionia. Albert 
worked for Fisher Body in Lansing for 33 years until his retirement in 1995.

He loved to Snowmobile, Camp, golf and Build Muzzle Loaders.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years Shirley of Saranac; Lindy (Jim) Wiles of 
Florida, Todd (Kay) Peacock of Florida and Cindy (Gary) Lewis of Ionia; 
grandchildren, Jamie Pelon, Kylie Horrocks (Josh First), Ryan Lewis (Kailey 
Filush), Kodie Lewis and Michaela Lewis of Ionia; brothers, Art (Nancy) 
Peacock of New Hampshire, and Walt (Judy) Peacock fo Greenville; sister 
Sandra Gilliland of Arizona; mother-in-law Myrtle Bayly of Ionia; step 
brothers and sisters Linda (Gary) Shimmel and Bobby (Joann) Pickens.

Albert was preceded in Death by his parents, father-in-law Harry and Step-
siblings Mary Lee Besson and Terry Pickens.

Cremation has taken place and service will be held at a later date. Those 
wishing may make contributions to Hospice of Michigan. Arrangements by Lake
