                       MRS. ALBERT PEACOCK DIES AT ANN ARBOR
                                              -----------
YOUNG MATRON OF 26 YEARS LEAVES MANY FIRENDS.  ILL MANY MONTHS.
                                              -----------
   After an illness of several months from trouble that baffled the medical
profession, Mrs. Albert Peacock died 
at the Ann Arbor university hospital, Monday.  Mrs. Peacock won the love and esteem
of many friends in the 
six years of her live in Sebewa.
   The funeral was held at the Congregational church Wednesday afternoon, Rev.
George J. Start preached 
and Rev. and Mrs. Start sang beautiful hymns.  burial was at Lakeside cemetery.
   Doris May Barkley, daughter of Frank and Nelly Barkley, was born in Charlevoix
county, Mich., November 9, 
1907, and died June 4, 1934, aged 26 years, six months and 25 days.  Her girlhood
home was at boyne City, 
coming to Ionia county yo live about  six years ago.
   On October 26, 1929, she was united in marriage to Albet Peacock and has since
reside at Lansing and near 
Lake Odessa.
   Doris was taken sick early in  February and was tenderly cared for by relatives
and friends.  On March 22, 
she was removed to an Ann Arbor hospital where she passed away, leaving a loving
husband, of Lake Odessa, 
her father, one sister Dorothy, and six brothers, Leslie, Earl, Acie, Albert, James
and William, all of Boyne City; 
the mother having passed away November 9, 1932.
   Doris won a host of friends who will always remember and love her for her cheery
disposition and her 
distinctive, sunny smile.
