The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 2, 1959
Mrs. Eunice E. Peacock, 87 of route two, died at 7:45 a.m. Sunday at a rest 
home in Ionia where she had been cared for the past two years.  She was born 
October 9, 1871 in Sebewa township, the daughter of Steven and Amelia 
(Daniels) Lindley.  She was married to Samuel Peacock at Ionia July 1, 1891 
and they spent their entire married life on a farm on M66 northeast of Lake 
Odessa.  He died in 1918.  

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Luella Bouse of Big Timber, Montana, and 
Mrs. Leona VanZee of Ithaca, New York; four sons, Albert E. of Ionia, Thomas 
L. and Elwood O. of Lake Odessa, and Walter E. of Grand Rapids; 15 
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at Pickens funeral chapel Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with 
burial in Lakeside cemetery.  The Rev. A. J. Pitman will officiate.
