The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, October 2, 1934


Funeral services for Sheldon Peacock, 26, of Lake Odessa, who was killed in an 
automobile accident north of Nashville while returning from a football game 
Friday afternoon, were held from the home Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock, with 
Rev. George W. Start of the Congregational church officiating.  Burial was at 
Lakeside cemetery, on the day previously set for his marriage to Miss Mary Ann 
Welch, of Grand Rapids.  

Besides his parents, he leaves one sister, Mrs. Grover C. Coole, of Bangor.
