The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, April 16, 1932

Miss Elnora Peake, 64, of Danby, was buried in the family lot in the Portland 
cemetery Thursday afternoon following the funeral services conducted by Rev. 
John H. Stewart at the Banfield chapel.  Miss Peake died Tuesday following a 
six months’ illness of cancer.  She was born in Danby township and had lived 
her lifetime there.  A brother, Charles Peake, survives.
