Ionia County News - Thurs.  May 18, 1939


William Peake, prominent farmer residing in Danby township died at his home 
Wednesday morning. He was 79 years of age and had been a leader in township 
affairs for many years. Mr. Peake is survived by two sons, Guy of Portland; 
Hugh of Madison, Wis.; four daughters, Mrs. Della Sykes, Mrs. Grace Lindsey, 
Mrs. Belle Pryor, Mrs. Norah Lindsey and a brother, Russell A. Peake of 
Portland. Funeral service will be held Friday.
