Portland Observer, 28 Aug 1895

Mrs. Alonzo Peake died at her home on the west side on Wednesday evening last, 
after a somewhat protracted illness, the immediate cause of her death being fat 
around the heart.  Deceased was an old resident of Danby, but had resided several 
years in the house where she died.  She was 67 years of age and her funeral was 
conducted from her late home on Friday afternoon last, Rev. Bird officiating.  
Chas. and Webster and Misses Ida and Nora Peake, together with a large circle of 
friends, mourn her loss.
