Portland Review - Monday, March 31, 1997

Marion K. Peake, 82, of Portland, died March 21, 1997.

She was born Sept. 15, 1914 in DeWitt, the daughter of Louis and Mayme (Cramer) 
Smith.

She was a member of the Eagle United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Nathan T. of Portland; one son, David (Ruth 
Ann) Peake of Portland; three grandchildren, Christopher, Cameron and Cree; 
several great-grandchildren; one brother, John Smith of Lansing.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen, and brother, Walter.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 24, 2 p.m. at the Neller Chapel, 
210 Bridge St., Portland wit the Rev. Larry W. Nalett, Pastor officiating. 
Interment will following the North Eagle Cemetery in Eagle. Friends may call at 
the chapel beginning Saturday at 7 p.m., where the family will receive friends 
from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

14258 Michigan St. , Eagle, 488822 in Memory of Mrs. Peake.
