Cora A. Pearce, 83, formerly of 519 High street died Thursday evening in Ionia 
Manor.

She was born October 13, 1893in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
Norris Perry.

She married Chris C. Pearce in Belding in 1914. He preceded her in death in 
1949. Two sons, Carelton and Richard also preceded her in death. 

She was employed by nursing homes in the Ionia-Muir area.

Mrs. Pearce was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church.

Survivors include two sons, William and John of Ionia; one stepson, Charles of 
Belding; three daughters, Mrs. Jeanne Miller and Mrs. Lois Myers of Ionia and 
Mrs. Virginia Scriber of Quincy; 26 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 
two great-great-grandchildren

Services are Monday at 11 am at the Myers-Roetman funeral home with Elder 
Gordon Stecker officiating.

Burial is in Balcom cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Saturday 7 to 
9 pm and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 t0 9 pm. 

A memorial fund is established for the Seventh Day Adventist church.
