Portland Observer – Wednesday 25 October 1899
Mrs. Dora (Hazleton) Pearl, daughter of Mrs. And Mrs. Joseph Hazelton, and 
wife of George Pearl, died last Friday night, aged 33 years.  She had been 
married but a little over three months.  Consumption was the cause of her 
death.  Funeral services were held from the Baptist church Monday forenoon.
