Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Nov 1972

Mrs. Alma Christine Pearson, 96, of 208 West Liberty, Belding, died Sunday at
Belding Community hospital.  She was born in Sweden December 8, 1875, and formerly
lived at Norway, Michigan, coming to Belding 13 years ago.  March 13, 1896, she was
married to John Pearson and he died December 27, 1959.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Lambertson of Belding and Mrs. Ruby
DeGarmo of Milford; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; sister, Mrs.
Lettie Carlson of Norway.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Charles M. Courser funeral home of
Belding.  Rev. Eugene Lewis of United Methodist church will officiate and interment
will be at River Ridge cemetery.  Bearers will be Fred Reusser, Don Cornell, Dr.
Chauncy Chase, Spencer Cornell, Norman Thome and Ronald Mahar.
