Alan Lawrence Pearson, aged 60, of Ionia, passed away Feb. 3, 2010.

He was born Aug. 6, 1949 in Ionia, the son of Lawrence and Linnie (Teed) 
Pearson. Alan married Mary Ann McKee Dec. 4, 1976 in Ionia. He worked for 
Steelcase as a product engineer before retiring in 2002. He loved bowling, 
golfing, old cars, hunting, fishing and his trips to Las Vegas.

Alan is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Mary Ann Pearson of Ionia; 
daughters Kerry (Jamie) Fountain of Ionia, and Kelly (Ron Petersen) Daugherty 
of North Carolina; the loves of his life, his 4 grandchildren Hunter, Bayleigh 
and Sawyer Fountain and Monroe Petersen; brothers Jim (Susie) Pearson of Ionia; 
sister Joyce(Bob) Renucci of Ionia and many special brothers- and sisters- in-
law, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law Helen and Ken 
McKee and sister-in-law Pat McKee.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Deacon Cindy Nawrocki officiating. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The 
family will receive friends and relatives Sunday 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. 
In lieu of flowers you may make memorial contributions to the Grand Rapids 
Hospice or the Multiple Myloma Research Foundation. Online condolences may be
