Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 29 Apr 1959

Mrs. Myrtle C. Pearson, 56, of Lansing, died Sunday at Ionia County Memorial
hospital where she had been a patient since April 11.  Mrs. Pearson suffered a
heart attack while traveling on US 16 to the home of her son, Frederick, in
Grand Rapids April 11 and was taken by ambulance to the Ionia hospital.  She was
born July 8, 1902 in Williamston and had been a life-long resident of Lansing
and vicinity except for a short time in Lake Odessa where she and her husband,
George, cared for his invalid mother, Mrs. Mary Pearson.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Frederick of Grand Rapids, and
Willard of East Lansing; two daughters, Mrs. Laura McDougall of East Lansing,
and Mrs. Catherine Geyer of Lansing, one stepson, Richard Pearson of Avalon
Lake, Ohio; three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service was held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gorsline-Runciman funeral
home in Lansing with the Rev. Truman A. Morrison officiating.  Williamston Order
of Eastern Star will be in charge of graveside service.  Burial will be in
Summit cemetery at Williamston.
