CLARENCE W. PEARSON
A Lake Odessa resident Clarence W. Pearson, 74, died Thursday afternoon of injuries
received in an automobile accident on the overpass of Jordan Lake highway and I-96.

He was born August 12, 1898 at Saginaw, the son of William and Margaret Pearson and
had lived in Lake Odessa area since 1952.

He was retired from Lansing fire department in 1952 after 25 years service and was a
member of Lansing Eagles Aeries.

Surviving are his wife, the former Hilda M. Jorgensen; three sons, Marvin of Okemos,
Russell of Redondo Beach, Calif; and Wayne of Pasadena, Texas; 16 grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 am at Gorsline-Runceman Lansing chapel, 900
East Michigan. Interment will be at Deepdale Memorial Park, Lansing.
