Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday April 21, 1966

Former Local Man Dies at Gladwin
Flint L. Pearson, 68, of Gladwin, formerly of Lake Odessa passed away Tuesday 
afternoon at his home after a months illness.

He was born in Lake Odessa November 29, 1897 the son of Lewis and Mary Pearson. 
He spent most of his life here, residing with his mother on Sixth Avenue until 
her death. His parents were pioneer residents of the village and have been 
members of the Methodist Church since 1891. Mr. Pearson resided in a house 
trailer on US-16 until last October when he married Ethel Anders and they moved 
to Florida, returning to Gladwin this spring where he underwent surgery March 
26th. He was injured in a car accident 15 years or more ago, that left him a  
semi-invalid.

Surviving are his wife, a brother George of Lansing, three nephews and a niece.

Mr.Pearson reposes at the Pickens Funeral Chapel where services will be held 
Friday at 1:30 with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
