Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday October 28, 1954

MARY PEARSON DIED THURSDAY

Mrs. Mary Pearson 88, pioneer resident passed, away at her home on Sixth Ave. 
Thursday afternoon. A native of Lenawee county she had resided here for the past 
63 years.

She was a charter member of the Methodist Church.

Her husband, Lewis, a general store owner and justice of peace passed away 33 
years ago.

Surviving are one daughter Mrs.Myrtle Murphy of Lansing two sons George of 
Lansing and Flint of Lake Odessa and four grand-children.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 at the Pickens Funeral chapel with 
burial in Lakeside cemetery. Rev. Paul Robinson officiated.
